Tone down Alphas
Their strength is way too much and then add to the fact they are WAY too common. I fought off one alpha critter, barely surviving as a fresh sub sucho. Then when I was getting food from it (I was starving) another spawned and IMMEDIATELY came to avenge that alpha critter. Then add insult to injury a THIRD one spawned while the second was still alive. There should not be so many alpha critters in the same area.
If they are going to do as much damage as they do, they should be WAY squishier. Allow status effects to harm them, including knock back. Bleeding will do continuous dmg, venom will slow them down, and knockback to push them away. Bonebreak to stop them in their place. If they can do status effects against us, they should be affected by them too.

Yeah, they do too much damage and they aggro onto things they shouldn't. There is no way a little tiny crocodile is going to want to charge at a full adult spino. I hope they address this issue before they add AI dinos. -

Fishfork123456789I think they do too much damage for their size, personally
As an adolescent mirigia, twice the size of one of them, I got nearly 3 tapped by it, died to the bleed -

Extinct hatzegopteryxAlpha critters are not an issue for faster Dino's but for the bigger slower ones, they are unfairly deadly. I did however make friends with a sucho on my rex through an alpha because we had to fight it together.. not so easy to fight alongside a stranger when you've no idea their fight style and have to try not hit them when the thing attacking you is twice the speed of both of you but we succeeded in killing only the critter.
I think we need more big critters but less alphas, and fully agree that if they can do status effects that they should be able to take it too.
And I would like to be able to clamp them too. I can currently only imagine how annoying hatz would be if they were just bringing alpha critters to you all the time, but that's easily controlled by the fact you wouldn't be able to take them too far from their spawn point.
