You Ruined Rhampy
Rhampy does ZERO damage to olayers but yet you nerf its stam regen when you could have decreased its player 'attacks' by increasing its pounce cooldown. WORSE though this really affects how rhampy gets food! All but the TINIEST critters need several flyby/bite ir dart attacks to kill which severely drains your stam.
Then the hostile water AI makes fishing even HARDER. One of the most fun things for me ss rhsmpy before. Now you have to contend with the hard to catch fish on rhamp (unless using complete fish build) AND dodge water AI which AGAIN really drains stam. Two big critters prevented me from getting my fish (which are WAAAY too scarce) THEN while I was trying to recover stam, it came out of the water and killed me. And these things/fish are supposed to REPLACE the current fish eventually?? Then how is rhampy supposed to live?
Restoring rhampy's stam regen is one fix, allowing for player abilities to affect critters would help too so you could pounce big critters.

Rhamph really had to get such a harsh stamina recovery nerf, from 3 to 0.9? I have no problem with a less harsh nerf, like 2 or 1.5, but holy gosh, I hope they revert this... nerf... It got done dirty... Please revert Rhamphs stamina recovery!!! -

Shrugzzz1000% agree they need to restore rhamph’s stam regen. Or at least make it close to what it was before. It does no damage. It shouldn’t feel like the stam regen is on par with a mid tier.
Also worth mentioning-
The new pounce passive that gives 200% armour or whatever actually negates rhamph’s ability to survive because lucky feather isn’t triggered. -

AzulraThis is why I hate how Alderon are using the logic of "small fragile dinos(such as Rhamph, Struthi, and Campto) need to be more interactive" when they're not supposed to be interactive. They're weak and fragile prey animals which means the only things they have are speed and stamina to ensure nothing can catch them.
@Shrugzzz The only reason they gave Rhamph that passive is because of Rhamphs getting 1-tapped by teammates while trying to debuff a target and the devs didn't want to bother coding in a passive that just simply makes them immune to group member damage while pounced on another player so they went the easy route and gave it Ano's built-in passive ability that is unlisted in the in-game abilities screen. -

TimberwolfSine as ran out of room on suggestion ...continuing here:
Rhampy could also benefit from a 2nd head slot as a third option to help it out -

RemmyAgree with this all the way. Rhamph did NOT need a nerf, especially one THIS hard. If anything, it needs some kind of buff :/

TimberwolfTrying this again...
Ran out of room on original post so point 3 of how can fix/help rhampy:
Give it a second head slot -

TimberwolfRevising OP to be more concise & better worded
The recent stamina regeneration nerf has impacted Rhampy even more than other creatures. Rhampy does ZERO player damage and relies on mobility to outmaneuver opponents and hunt AI. With slower stamina recovery, it struggles to stay mobile long enough to hunt AI.
This issue is worsened by the new aquatic AI. Fish are still scarce, and the tougher aquatic prey are difficult for Rhampy to deal with. If the old fish AI is removed entirely, Rhampy loses one of its reliable food sources, with no clear way to adapt.
Suggestions:
1. Restore Rhampy’s stamina regen to pre-nerf levels or similar
2. Allow status effects to work on critters, benefiting all dinos in PvE.
3. Add a second head slot or combine some (spear-fishing & passive bite) to improve AI hunting
4. Introduce PvE-specific ability variants or buffs, letting players make better PVE builds -

Smartbics2Another thing of concern I think nobody is talking about is when the Thalasso TLC gets released, will we have a similar problem to the Tropeognathus on modded community servers? The Tropes are fast, endurance machines that can also dive in the water, making both the current Thalassodromeus and Rhamphorhynchus completely screwed over by the more competent flier Tropeognathus! If Thalassodromeus becomes a mobility-centered hunter, then Rhamph could be screwed over; having a slower flight speed doesn't help its case.

Smartbics2They just NERFED RHAMPH AGAIN by decreasing scab picker debuff duration to 5 seconds (from 20)
JUST REMOVE RHAMPH AT THIS POINT IF THESE DEVS ARE GOING TO CONTINUE NERFING IT
