Diet System overhaul (Custom Diets! and more!)

an overhaul of the diet system! instead of 1 diet slot you get 3! you can now pick several different food sources from a list tailored to each dino! each of these sources will give a small non-damage buff as long as the player is over 50% hunger (the ONLY penalty for not being over 50% hunger is missing out on these buffs) the food you gain from each source also scales with how many you have equipped, if you have 3 of the same source, it will provide the same amount of food it does now and you get a stacked buff! but if you have 3 different sources, each source of food will be 2/3rds less effective however you will have 3 different buffs active past 50% hunger!
new food sources will also be added to give players even MORE build variety, and these could synergize with the foliage update!
this allows for ACTUAL OMNIVORES because you can simply play as a creature with those options and build your own diet!!

MysteryThis is a lovely example of what the diet system could be. I’m begging you PoT, PLEASE consider doing this. I’ve been annoyed at the current diet system for years, and how limiting it is. A dynamic diet system like this would be so much more immersive and convenient gameplay wise.

B0REALThe in-game diet system was always lacking imo, it's bothered me greatly that we're restricted to only one or very few food sources with the option to switch but not upgrade/expand.
Your suggestion shows that an interesting and more immersive system is very possible and not hard to create.
This and more varied food sources for herbivores (please Alderon plEASEee) would improve diets so much.
