Critters Feedback
Right now critters have several issues going on:
-No active rewards for killing them
-Can track you even when hiding
-They cannot move like a "herd" or spawn in groups
-Their damage can be too high(specially alphas)while also being faster than regular critters
-Their food amount isnt enough to sustain some dinosaur food drains(rex, titans, etc)despite them being used as a "key" to the ecosystem.
So i suggest this changes:
-Reduce their damage/Eliminate the armor piercing effect
-Make the tracking/hiding more "natural" (if im hiding on a bush, they shouldnt see me)
-Let them roam in small "herds-groups" for extra food
-Add bigger AI to feed bigger carnivores OR reduce bigger carnis food drain(rex, titan, etc...)
-Allow players to interact with them(they can be grabbed, they drink close to the water, they can be pounced, etc)so people have a better chance at killing them with their gameplay tools

Lunai think their okay but i think you should add some better features like for the tortoises to not attack because well.. their herbivores

EchoI HATE how strong the critters are, especially alphas. I tried to facetank one on my subadult T. rex; it took around 15 bites to kill, and dropped me to half health.
But I don’t think they should give more food. A T. rex shouldn’t be able to sustain itself long term off of tiny animals. Realistically it would hunt large animals, feed off of the carcass for as long as it can (a few days?), and then have a “fasting” period while it searches for another opportunity to hunt large prey. -

SlimedserpentI agree with most of this, though I'm glad apexes are getting faster food drain. It means bigger groups have a harder time keeping fed so there's less big groups of them walking around if they aren't good at feeding themselves. Though the downside is that it punishes solos(especially when they're the chosen victims to feed apex megapacks) so maybe there's a way to balance it where it still favors punishing a large apex group trying to feed themselves
Also, I think tortoises being aggressive is fine. It kinda makes sense, they're so slow that the only way to live is to scare off would-be attackers first. Though they probably shouldn't attack herbs on sight and instead be neutral to them. Or maybe not, who knows if they can even tell what a real threat is.
