Npc baby for nesting

I was very excited at the prospect of being able to create nests in Path of Titans. However, when a baby joins our family and we have to leave the game, we never see it again. Ideally, we'd like to be able to hatch unplayed characters so that we're not dependent on other players. In single-player or multiplayer mode, this would allow us to raise our little ones and watch them grow over time.
