Please Revert the Sound Changes Back to their Original Settings
The volume of the sound effects in the game have been decreased to an almost unplayable level.
Setting up a hunt or ambushing someone is near impossible now. By the time you hear someone, they’re practically on top of you. If you want to hunt someone or are about to be attacked, you have no time to prepare. Crouching and precise moving being quieter makes sense; but only being able to hear an adult Rex walking towards you from several body lengths away is too extreme.
While quieter questing sounds are beneficial for growing dinos, growing shouldn’t be safe. Questing sounds were fine before. Plenty of players grew dinos to adult with them. Getting killed as a baby is just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The game’s background music can’t be used much anymore. I can only really hear myself with mine set at 20% and effects at 100%.
Here is a video that helps showcase this a bit more. Quite a few players are struggling with this.

RaymhI highly agree! I have hated the sound update ever since it came out. It's very hard to hear anyone traveling around you, especially bigger specimens. Before the update, I appreciated being able to know if someone was approaching my area. If I was small I could avoid them, or if I wanted to hunt I could follow them. But now it is much more difficult in a VERY un-enjoyable way. I hope more then anything they will revert the changes. As for the people who thought certain aspects of the game were too loud, I suggest an option to lower footsteps or questing sounds for THEMSELVES. I would love to be able to actually hear others around me. Some dinosaurs should not be quiet if they are in view. I want to practically hear the rumble from their feet as they approach. They are heavy, gigantic, threatening, and should sound like it! (Excluding the smaller ones). BUT -- Smaller dinosaurs should still make noise as to give the hunter a chance to hear them moving. Hope this gets reverted/fixed! <3

TheMonkeyClownI agree, most if not all dinosaurs had padding on their feet. making footsteps much quieter than in media. so they could actually hunt. now any large carnivore can’t hunt anything and it stinks
