Rhamphorhynchus Drinking Seawater
Dear Path of Titans development team,
Due to Rhamphorhynchus most likely being a shore/ocean based pterosaur, it would be most logical for it to have an adaptation towards the consumption of seawater. This would most likely be an ability, potentially categorized in “senses.”
If not an ability, then it could be a built in feature. Perhaps you could add features, such as large nostrils on the beak, to show the salt drainage system.
I personally think that this is a great idea, and is a small and subtle change that could greatly add to the creature’s use. Such a small thing needs to have some benefits!
Thank you.

Especially since a lot of its inspiration comes from seabirds which can drink seawater -

DomimimusCool idea. The pterosaur would be able to exploit a mostly uninhabitable environment and its resources.

RemmyRooAgreed, this is a brilliant suggestion! Rhamphy’s whole theme is coastal and the water drain on it paired with its current inability to drink salt water just doesn’t let it be a coastal creature.

FalcyHedgehogI'm a year or two late to this but I agree. I want to play as a coastal/pelagic specialist but I can't really even make use of far off islands since I have to return to the mainland so often for water. At the very least, water should be added to the smaller islands and/or eating fish should replenish your water meter.

melissathala should also be able to drink salt water because why not? after all thalassadromeus means SEA RUNNER.
