Suggestion to Prevent Group Invite KOSing
If you are not in combat with a dinosaur outside of your group disallow friendly fire. If a group is disbanded disable combat for a certain amount of time. These are suggestions to prevent players from using groups to find and kill other players.

Friendly Fire is necessary. It's part of having compelling combat that requires thought and intention. Otherwise you could just mindlessly spam your attacks with no regard for whether, or not, you are hitting your teammate
And disabling combat for an amount of time after someone leaves a group would present other issues. Players would be able to Body Block one another while immune to combat, etc.
There is already a way to avoid getting killed after accepting random group invites. Stop accepting random group invites. You can even disable random invites in the options. -

NachtaI kind of like the idea, but an easy way to get around this is (assuming you have a group of 3) is you can have a buddy leave the group, attack you, which will disable the friendly fire protection, then after they kill you they'd reinvite their buddy. I don't think disabling combat for yourself after a group disbands is a good idea.

SoulsplosionPerhaps players could have no death penalty and drop no trophy if they are killed by a group mate or a player who was recently a group mate (but this safety would be temporarily disabled if they are attacked by a player who was never recently grouped with them). Mixpacks could still find a way around this but it would still go a long way for making players feel less crappy about being betrayed

JakobThere should be Friendly fire option when going into a group.. So you can defend eachother without hurting anyone else than the attacker.. Since a solo dino can charge a group.. and hit/bite every one.. and the group has to be careful defending since they can end up helping the attacker instead of defending.
and if you invite someone.. there should be a 10-15min countdown when leaving/getting kicked from a group.. so you won't turn into a target right away. -

blugrassADD THE DAM PLAYER BLOCK FEATURE ALREADY DAM stop nerfing and removing features and Resorces waystone cost 2k really some of these DISCORD groups have 20+ people they have the marks to waste most your regular player base doesn't have a BLOCK system where once a player is blocked they are invisible to you no interaction in chat or GAME blocked players names should be red in the player list this feature would improve the game for all
