Ideas for metriacanthosaurus Tlc
These are some ideas that might make metri a very special dinosaur in the game by focusing on a new poison type called illness that apply when you attack multiple times, and mixture which is another type that mix with the poison of the bite slot and claw slot
Bite slot:
Illness bite: A bite that deals low damage and fast cooldown. Each time you attack you get one point of poison on the target up to 10 maximum. When you get 10 points it will apply the illness effect to stamina or food or water depending on what hide you are using. While around any target that have illness effect your claw attacks cooldown is halved, and deal 20% more damage on illness bite.
Illness last for 1 minute and if the target get hit by claw attacks while illness effect is active it gives the mixture effect for 35 seconds and ignoring the 1 minute illness effect.
Second bite slot:
Poisonous spit: a spit similar to miragaia, but with less width which apply 3 poison points.

VegitoCouldn’t add it up due to limit so I will add it here.
Sense:
Fraud call: which add the ability to copy any dinosaur vocal calls that used its call next to you ( you can choose if you want to copy it or not ) and it last as long as you want,also you can stop mimicking by pressing the ability again to start looking for another dinosaur to mimic,but can only choose one dinosaur vocal call every single use.
Lower the cooldown of the buffs that you copied by using the mimicry of competence ability(in buff slots)
Ambush: makes no sound from moving and crouching for 10 seconds increases your speed by 10% and damage 10% until you enter a fight.
1 minute cooldown after use.
increases the duration of invisible call buff.( in buff slots
Confusion: which gives wrong healh count to the target if they had the mixture poison.
Makes more illusion by 1 at a time when using the illusion call(in buff slots)

VegitoCalls(buffs):
Invisible: makes you blend with the environment around you for 30 seconds. which makes you transparent. You are still visible but hard to distinguish between you and the environment behind you.
Illusion: a call that increase the illness duration by 3x and mixture by double and makes any target that have illness effect to see 3 clones of the metri one by one with purple eyes to distinguish between the clones and the real one. The clones will go toward the target and if they reached the target under the illusion the clone will do an attack that take 3 seconds to do and apply damage to the target if the target didn’t hit them by any means.
Mimicry of competence: which add the ability to copy any dinosaur buff calls that used its call next to you ( you can choose if you want to copy it or not ) and it last as long as you want,also you can stop mimicking by pressing the ability again to start looking for another dinosaur to mimic,but can only choose one dinosaur buff call -

Claw attack:
Mixture claw: that deal low damage with 6 seconds cooldown.
if the target had illness effect.
Increases the damage by 100% and halves the cooldown and apply mixture effects which deal other posion effects if used while the target had illness effect by bite slot poisons(illness bite), example(using the drain water hide with the mixture claw will apply a new poison effect such as health drain by 20% of the target water bar. Lets say the water bar is 100 when full and the target thirst is half (50) and you apply the mixture with water poison effect it will drain 10% from the target health. Just an example of how mixture can be used)

Mixture barrage: which attack 4 times and deal very low damage with 24 seconds cooldown.
if the target had illness effect apply mixture effect and increases the damage by 100% and halves the cooldown.
Does not reset illness bite effect. -

AlanGrant1993JPI like that you have thought this out, but there are some limitations. I do like the illness effect as an alterative to venom. An idea for it is to have it act like toxin, where it limits the health, but the effect grows over time (like a AP or GP sequence) as well as limiting more hp. To remove it could require drinking away the illness and for some dinos eat specific items like mushrooms and crabs or even drink the water in hotsprings.
The limitations are more in the call/voice aspect, metri was intended by the devs as a support dino like lamb, these ideas would conflict with the support concept of metri. It's granted that these would be great abilities but it would make metri feel like a different dino. Additionally, illusion and invisible would be hard to add and abit op. VegitoAlanGrant my friend no one said remove the healing call. Just simply add more abilities. Even lambeo has another calls that are not about healing, and if it was a real problem they could make the healing calls for metri be in a specific slot same as dasp normal bite which you cant use anything other than it. No need to make it difficult my friend and it is really not a conflict rather than an enhancement to metri gameplay mechanics.
