Foliage should slightly muffle/dampen footsteps

I know that footstep sound changes based on speed, weight, and terrain, but it also be so much more realistic if trees and bushes close to the player could slightly muffle/dampen the sound. If this were implemented, it would drastically improve the way carnivores hunt in the game and how easily herbivores could hide. I believe this would be much more accurate to how many dinosaurs actually behaved when they were alive. When in places like dark woods or hunters thicket even a rex should be much harder to hear when in dense underbrush. Rex is thought to have been an ambush predator after all.

I think this should be a constant effect with a short range. Each bush or tree close to the player, like 5(?) meters, should add to the % of sound that is muffled. The maximum % of sound being muffled should be at least 50% imo and could maybe be different for each dino. Things like a walking Laten should probably be silent imo.

Anyway ty for reading my suggestion. please like and comment ideas!
