Visible trophies on corpses
Specific trophies should have a feature where you can see if the corpse still has the trophy or not. For example, the lamb crest would show up on a corpse that has NOT had the trophy collected yet. However, when someone takes the trophy the crest would disappear off the corpse. This would remove any confusion whether or not a trophy has been taken off the corpse or not. Once more dino specific trophies are introduced, this will add a unique feature that will help aid in trophy hunting aswell as trophy snatching.

It's a pretty cool detail.
Hopefully nothing hard to code/model for, so maybe we could see it -

RhiannonThere are a few spesific ones that might confuse this a little. Like the tooth ones. Might not be worth editing the corpse to have one tooth missing since that wouldn't be very easy to see. It would make the way map placed corpses always are decapitated more interesting though because if there are any trophies that are a skull....I assume it the corpse would just have a headless version as its trophy removed version. Even if the jaw isn't in the trophy it would just be easyer to rip the whole thing off as a trophy hunting dinosaur and clean it after. You'd come across the pre-placed corpse and be like "Ah. Lorewise I see somebody took the head." rather then it being 100% mostly to be able to use the same corpse for multiple species from the same general body shape. I mean them having the head and sometimes hands removed probubly is partly to suggest it could be anything from that vauge dino catigory.

°•. Agridoce .•°adding to Rhiannon suggestion: also removing the whole foot when the trophy is a claw

cubicp1Thank you guys for the ideas, I do think some trophies might be too insignificant to show so the idea of removing a larger part is very nice! Obviously, small things like teeth and claws might be hard to tell, and obviously our dinos aren’t able to surgically remove them perfectly so that they are the only things missing. Also I’m sure these types of trophies won’t have enough possible ways to make each one unique so it may not even be too big of a deal overall.
🤭 So your idea of taking off larger parts seems very cool! Thanks for the contribution to my suggestion 🥰
