Can we add an accessibility setting to toggle the low health blood halo on the screen?

ALSO!! (not disagreeing with this, I upvoted), could we have the alternate option to ENABLE it while the HUD is disabled?
I have "disable HUD" as a shortcut on my controller but it's only the choice between ALL information, or NO information -

XxskybugxXBlood damage overlay is the worst thing to come out of gaming,…..it’s intention to notify the player their health is low is overshadowed by how UGLY it is, if its heavily raining in game there is almost no visibility, unless you turn hud off… please let this be a toggle,…… blood overlays are so 2000

myssbitterWith Alderon Games showing promise in promoting accessibility features by including an Arachnophobia toggle recently, I think this is but a step to be considered for people with visual difficulties and with a prominent dislike for blood splatters. The overlay at present is jarring, at times mixing with the weather particle effects to make for an inconvenient visual experience. If not a complete toggle-able removal, even some changes to reduce it's opaqueness or a texture change would be most welcome.

AstalphNO.
The Bloody/Envenomated effect around the screen is part of the combat. The obscured vision from the bloody screen effect is part of being critically injured. It causes slight visual impairment, and may even induce a sense of panic or distress in the player. The same can be said for the green venom visual on the screen. It is part of the venom effect. It is bad enough that players can turn these effects off by toggling their UI. Players should NEVER be able to just outright disable the blood or venom effects from their screen. That is part of the game. It is a part of being critically injured or envenomated. Stop trying to turn everything so soft and easy. -

AstalphPlease NO. This is an intended part of the combat experience. Being Low Health and near death SHOULD be a hindrance. It SHOULD provide some disadvantages and negative impacts to your performance, via blurred or bloody vision. I feel the same way about the Venom effect. It should stay, and it should NOT be something that can be disabled. And "bad eyes" has nothing to do with anything. I have, "bad eyes", myself. I'm blind in one eye. And the blood and venom effects do not bother me. I actually like them. The bloody screen effect and the venom screen edge effects put psychological pressure on the target. They may even induce a slight sense of panic or distress in the effected target. These are aspects of the combat that should not be removed. I see people bring up the arachnophobia toggle as president for this sort of toggle. But it's not. The small ambient spiders have no effect on combat. These screen effects do.

AstalphThis is an intended part of the game. These effects are SUPPOSED to obscure your vison a bit. They are part of the negative effect of being envenomated, or of being near death.
I see people complaining that these effects are "terrible for people with bad eyes.."
This makes no sense. "Bad eyes", has nothing to do with anything. The obscuring effects obscure EVERYONE's vision, not just people with "bad eyes". This is intended. I have, "bad eyes".. I am actually blind in one eyes and I also wear glasses. And I LIKE these screen effects. They add a level of immersion, and the effect also causes a sense of urgency and even work in YOUR favor when the effects are being applied to your opponent.
Players should not be able to toggle these effects off. And they should not be removed from the game, either. The game needs more immersive elements. Not less! -

I would like to see them toned down. Maybe start appearing at 50% HP instead of anything less than 100%? I think it's obnoxious that I stub my toe after a small fall and I get massive red blurs on the edge of my screen despite being nearly full health.
IDK why Astalph is defending it so hard when you just press a button and get rid of it anyways. It's clearly not a balancing thing if you were able to just do that.
Keep it. Just tone it down. Maybe add a slider to decide when this happens for preference/accessibility
