AUSTRALIAN DRAGON- MEGALANIA Ability TLC
Self explanatory, a more refined version of my "toxic dragon" Feedback art / poster from a few months back. Diurnal, and immune to venom / poison by default, with an array of much more fitting abilities for a giant Australian varanid. Especially Armored Tail, the most monitor-lizard themed ability in the game. Feel free to use any new ability ideas, artwork belongs to me, please reach out if you want to use it, or any other assets I've built up a portfolio with. (the skin suggestion is also up for grabs!)

Because "MEGALANIA" should have more endurance, like a monitor lizard that was bitten by a crocodile but still survived in the clip in YouTube therefore
MEG should therefore be as strong as today's monitor lizards. -

SomeoneWhen I saw the title i just think "sigh, yet another meg main that want it to be more overpowered " But THIS is actually a great idea! This idea plus a remodel and meg is my favourite playable!

Q / AstralarchivistYeah, it was far too overnerfed, but it just needs more abilities to balance out what it lost. I don't think a full remodel is necessary, but making it's legs a little longer, and vertically flattening the tail for the swimspeed sub would help it a lot, along with tucking its toes in for the swimming animation

RhiannonI'd like if the iconic strange little boneridge on the megalania's skull was slightly visible since we're talking small modle tweaks. It's very megalania spesific with no other monitor lizard known to have it and I wish we could see it.
Dragon's breath should probubly actually look like spraying a drink between your teeth since meg venom doesn't come from the back of the throat. I'd see it as a mouth just barely open almost sneeze looking move. -

Q / AstralarchivistI agree there. I think the bone ridge being visible was debunked somewhere, but it'd be a fun optional detail. I'd like the VFX to be more like a spitting cobra, did the Icon like that for dramatic effect, but I agree that a bit more of a spray look would be fitting

- Toxic immunity (Venom, poison, Toxin, Paralysis)
- Fetid Scent: envenomated player’s tracks are highlighted to you
HEAD - 2 slots
- Viper strikes: 1 second, increases venom output per bite. 30 dmg
- Heavy Bite: 5 seconds,
- Toxic Spit: 10 seconds, stacks Toxin. 10 meter range
- Charged Venom Bite
METABOLISM - 1 slot
- Hypercarnivore
- Fisher
- Scavenger
HIDE - 1 slot
- Solar Powered
- Streamlined
- Bonemail Hide: Each attack you take reduces the next by 3%. Stacks 5x. Every 3 seconds, a stack drops. Max, 15%
LEGS - 2 slots
- Dive
- Claw Swipe
- Rock Climber
- Webbed Feet
TAIL
- Tail Attack
- Regenerative Tail: 50% healing rate. (NOT a tail drop. Please no.)
- Armored Tail: 25% dmg reduction -

ปูรณ์If you add the attack tail, you can add another armored tail. The tail has 2 additional slots to have more abilities, because "MEGALANIA" doesn't seem durable enough to withstand strong dinosaurs.

Having a tail slot with armored and attack is necessary, but Two tail slots is not. -

CassThink Meg will have a TLC 5 years after a Compto TLC unfortunately, in the pile of forgettables.
Love meg, want to see a good TLC like this one.

The MEG should have a thick skin (armor) like today's monitor lizard

ExelThis is the best re work suggestion I've seen from meg anywhere especially the fetited scent ability, my only concern is that venom still doesn't really do anything compared to bleed but this is exactly how meg should be while they sort out what they want venom to actually do. Great job

FullmetalI have finally found a Meg main that doesn’t think it should be ridiculous. The only thing is that spraying venom might be a bit much, but a health or stamina cost would balance that out.

Q / Astralarchivist"Ridiculous" would be nerfing it even further for a TLC. Spraying venom, as one example, would be well within reason without the creature getting any changes, as venom barely does anything unless fully stacked.
That being said, I have fairly different opinions now on how it's kit should be filled, vs when I mad this. though there are some points I still stand by. -
