Dino name not shown / loginname in chat and party??
Why is it that in character creation, we can give our dino a name when it is not shown anywhere, inside the game itself?
Wouldn't it be an idea to change it, so that the dino's name was shown in chat and inside the game when you look for a group - so that it is your dino's name that is shown and your login name is only shown when you search for friends. You could then possibly show it in such a way that the login name is shown first followed by the dino name afterwards. - Login name (dinosaur name) - shown in picture.

I wish they gave us the ability to change the names, sometimes a more fitting one comes to you after playing it a bit, if they implement this suggestion I hope they allow name edits too! -

RhiannonI like the showing both in the player list. In addition how about a RP chat. You have global, group and local already but a RP chat might replace your name with your charicter's while you're talking. It should be a local chat varient so it's not bogged down from stuff all over the server and you only overhear conversations your charicter actually would.

Ticklesbop5000agreed. aslo id like to know who i finished off and maybe even be rewarded if they are a long lived player on the map. i understand some ppl can experience harassment with known names, but that generally is handled by admins in many games like this. personally i like knowing who got me and say gg after i die. but i understand toxicity online exists. a simple report or mute them can help tho .
