Add diplodocus to the game
Diplodocus is a magnificent dinosaur, as well as a nice addition to the game since we currently only have one sauropod.

Alot of these huge dinos are often not made cuz they're too strong, too slow and literally kill everyone around them. Results in them always being solo and making it boring. Answer might be turning them into actual boss dinos ans give an xp boost or something but also they get a huge downside like respawn as adolescent or something so they dont start handing out free lvls. That and also a huge amount of food obviously. And give them a groth buff ontop when theyre in herds. Maybe a passive exp gain because those kinda players just wanns exist and chat lol. Also make the attacks slow so they can be avoided but keep it strong. That way its a real boss fight feeling. -

RedbeardblondieDiplodocus is simply too large (mostly too long) to function on the map. I agree that they should add more Sauropods, but the selection will have to be of the smallest representatives, not massive ones like Diplodocus. Maybe commission a mod author to make it for you, but be prepared to get stuck between trees and rocks every few steps.

ParasaurianI'd love to see another sauropod come in, especially a bigger one. (though I imagine the Alderon team would pick something more obscure XD)
@maedsonsantos' comment: We already have similar dinosaurs in game or in the works; for Bary it's Sucho, instead of Utah we're getting Achillobator, and I imagine Eurhinosaurus will be the alternative to Mosa. Having both would just bloat the playable list and result in a lot of dinos feeling copy/pasted. Plus, I like the team going for more obscure dinos vs ones everybody has already heard of before. (not to mention all three are being added via mods, with a Utah mod already out) -

EnvirobridgeBrachio is within the size range needed for the maps. In addition perhaps make a special map for longer Dinos? Like Gondwa for the oceangoing ones?

AshiruWe need a real tail whipping sauropod in this game... If a big fat argent mod is able to move around Gondwa it should be easier for the Diplodocus. You can't have a dino game without a decent sauropod. Amarga is just too small and weak to represent the mighty sauropods. Diplodocus tail should mostly have same tail whipping animation and hit box with high dmg, low bleed and high knock back. 1 stomp that deals high dmg and bone break as well. Neck slaps that deals low dmg but good knock back. Their neck muscles were stiffer than tail so they shouldn't be able to thrust the same amount of dmg as their tail so it should deal low dmg. It should be balanced in battle that way. Other things to keep it balanced, it should have high hp but low hp regen speed. Low stamina regen. Neck part take more dmg when hit but a fair enough bleed resist. Should also have weaker bone break regen to make things fairer. Cannot stomp when affected by bone break. That should make a good diplodocus!

MalDanielsI think diplodocus is at a pretty good spot size wise too, bigger than apexes but not by a huge amount, so could have more mobility while still being above everything else's weight class. Argentinosaurus is cool but if I'm honest an adult is a pain to play because it's so slow.
The tail provides a lot of gameplay possibilities too, both for combat and communication/herd buffs. And diplodocids are known for rearing on their hind legs, which would be really cool. -

P.S Argentinosaurus,Parasaurolophus,Camarasaurus,Edmontosaurus,Quetzalcoatlus, and many other dinosaurs should be released into the game as official playable animals in Path of Titans!!! -

trsgesefefI read once that diplodocus's neck can't go up, it was straight so it had to eat plants from ground, idk if it is true because i read it on google.

Josh-TheMightyI would absolutely LOVE to have more larger species of sauropods officially added to the game to play as. Diplodocus would be a great choice as it would still feel like an actual titan but not being at the mercy of every carnivore around like the smaller Amargasaurus is.
The Diplodocus with it's whip like tail could ideally effectively defend itself from behind whilst using it's neck to whack enemies along with a stomp attack and kicks to deal with smaller opponents.
Also as it had small keratinous spikes down it's back and tail maybe it could deal passive bleed which only increases the more times a creature bites it? -

LongiiYea damn i would really like to see a larger Sauropod. Playing as a 6/7 slot herbivore would be really cool expecially also because diplodocus sits at a size that makes it still fast enough to travel the map in time. To be honest i would even rather like to see it with pretty high trot speed, rather slow sprint speed and lots of stamina like Amarga. Sauropods in my opinion is a big weakness of the game atm and i can only hope for more people to vote up on this.
