Silent Swim
Silent swimming ability for sarco, currently the croc cannot ambush properly from water without sounding like a locomotive. I'm suggesting it either as an ability or it could be a slow swim option similar to what slow walk is on land.

friend.codeIt makes no sense for dinos on land to hear dinos swimming underwater, glad to see this suggestion. This would drastically improve aquatic gameplay.

FalseI highly agree with this. Sarco being a good example the perfect ambush predator when it comes to water yet you will hear him coming before he even gets close.

Ryzanimai would just like to add that i believe your right and the Sarcosuchus has no real ambush ability being so loud in the water all the time however, currently if you swin at walking speed or using precise movement in water you make less noise, i think the audio system of movement in water should be changed to be based of distance to surface, so for shallow ponds, rivers or lakes it would make it difficult to ambush beacuse of the amount of surface splashing required to breach the surface and ambush prey, conversely on deep lakes, river or ponds where the shore drops into deep water quickly if the predator in question rises at a slow pace the volume of the breach is greatly reduced, or sprinting to the surface, the volume is lesser than if the water was more shallow but greater than rising slowly. of course this would apply to any playable dinosaur and i think it would enable certain dinosaur's especially the aquatic ones to travel at the bottom of water silently.

Gerald WilliamsThe Sarco is so much fun to play, but so frustrating to ambush on. It needs to feel more powerful attacking from the water, with the ability to drag someone in, or to have some form of bonebreak to then catch the prey. Currently a Sarco feels more dangerous on land.
I play on realism, and sometimes wait upwards of an hour for a target to hunt. If they don't drink in exactly the place that I lay my ambush, I am forced to tap movement keys slowly in order to remain silent while repositioning, which often fails as it is so slow, they have already moved on. It really breaks the feeling of being an ambush predator.
Perhaps a simple fix for now would be for sprinting while swimming to make the noise, and not sprinting to be silent. -

NazarioYou can already swim silently but you need an analog controller and you swim very slowly. Obviously that’s not available to all and I agree it should be possible to swim without a workaround. I also don’t think it should be an ability it should just be for normal speed swimming. If ‘sprinting’ then noise is acceptable. That’s my ten pence worth anyway.

Abyssthe answer is simple the sarco must not make noise in submarine mode. already the sarco is the ONLY SEMI-AQUATIC to lose its stamina under water...
Nazario: even is sprint it should be able to be silent for the simple and good reason that the edge of the banks has no bottom and that sarcosuchus is forced to spin on land before reaching the prey. -

plutomiumNow we have a totally silent swimming sarco which is better. But it should make some noise when swimming on the water surface at high speed!

Doyaduku_beGreat idea to add special characteristics for each Dino. This is a must for being an ambush predator.

Bobby ShafferNo. Absolutely not. You cannot hear then when it's underwater. But I do think they deserve the ability to drag something into water. Because it's a croc.

WolfgangWolvesThat sounds good 🥳

HobbsThey should also remove that splash animation because that makes no sense either

John GallantI think that normally swimming on the surface & under the water shouldn’t make sound or splash, but sprinting across the top of water should make a splash & some noise, but sprint swimming under water should only make a subtle noise.

KailaniAll Semi and Full Aquatic dinos should be swimming beneath the surface with no audio clues from above. It's gimmicky and diminishes the effectiveness of aquatic predation.
