Suggested Deinonychus Buffs
Deinon is in a pretty terrible state right now. It's abilities are great but its stats are lacking. I understand originally the need to differentiate between the two of them but now I believe that with Laten and Deinon having fundamentally different kits and different roles there does not need to be as large of a disparity between them stat wise. So these are the stat shanges I propose:
- Increase Combat Weight to 1000 or 1200 (from 800)
- Increase Sprint Speed to 1125 (from 1100)
- Decrease Sprint Stamina cost to 0.4 (from 0.5)
- Increase Trot Speed to 450 (from 360)
- Remove Lucky Feather passive and replace with On Alert (only done if CW is raised to 1200)
I feel that these changes would easily make Deinon a much more fun playable without making it feel oppressive. Increasing it's Combat Weight to 1200 would give it that extra push to make it a worthwhile pick for raptors groups and solo players alike since it will have the bulk to either escape or defend itself from smaller targets. Increasing it's Sprint Speed will allow it to catch up or apply pressure to some of the faster playables without invalidating Laten because of it's passive bringing it to a faster speed at night. The removal of Lucky Feather for the trade of extra bulk of 1200 CW is beyond fair.
All in all I think these changes would easily make Deinon feel more fun to play all around without invalidating Laten since they both already have different abilities for different roles. Please consider this change or something similar. I feel that honestly just changing it's CW to 1200 would be enough to make Deinon feel more fun to play, but these other changes could make it much more viable too.

SteakdabaitIt doesn't need to be any faster than it is. It's already the fastest playable after hitting escape artist and has a verticality that only flyers can match. It's issue is just terrible stam game rather than one of actual mobility. Deinon is also just really needs pounce to be reworked

marbsthis is a pretty effective way to ruin deinonychus! you're essentially just trying to make laten 2.0
deinonychus isn't really meant for solo and in groups its both viable and fun.... if you want a lucky featherless, fast and high cw raptor: play laten or achillo
