Community Server Forums Channel on Discord
I was told to write it here from the Discord.
A separate channel should not be an issue because people who don’t want to see ads can simply mute it.
Forum layout preferred because it is easier to sort through and servers won’t be drowned out.
Give us tags like Realism, Semi-Realism, PVP, Deathmatch, PVE, Modded, No Mods, Fast Growth, Passive Growth, and maybe a No Rules tag so players may filter through and look for something they would like specifically.
You can make tags required on every post.

HyaenaFrankly kind of shocked this isn't a thing already! It's already so hard for community servers to get on their feet. I feel like it wouldn't be too horrific to moderate either and it's easy to mute like the OP said. With the popular servers packed most of the time and some big names going down it's the perfect time to start helping small community servers promote themselves. And surely some people are just looking for the right place to play before they spend more time and money on the game, so giving players more options is an all around good thing.

JoleenJackalopeAbsolutely agree with you! Right now, the only place server owners are really encouraged to promote is Reddit, where posts often get buried under downvotes because people are tired of seeing server ads. The result? Only the most visible 1-2 pages of servers fill up, while dozens of similar (and often well-run) servers sit completely empty.
To make things worse, the in-game server search is unreliable most of the time, meaning players can’t even find new servers easily unless they’re already on the front page. Even saving favorites doesn’t help much because the system doesn't work consistently. So most players just stick with whatever is at the top, not because it's the best fit for them, but because it's the easiest to join.
Giving players a dedicated place to browse servers with proper tags would be a huge win for everyone—server owners get a fair shot at visibility, and players actually get more variety instead of being funneled into the same handful of servers. Hope the devs serio -

CowboyI am surprised as well Hyaena that there isn't a channel on the discord for group/server promotion. I have seen the nightmare that is advertising on the reddit page as well and there is little hope of that being useful for then reasons you stated JoleenJackalope. I have seen many official discords utilize the thread system and allow guilds/servers to promote that way. Many of these servers allow one post per group/server and one bump every 24 hours and this the ball park rules most servers use for promotion channels as making threads is easy, neat, and allows for easy moderation. That would be my recommendation of how to handle it at least from my experiences using such promotion threads on servers.
