Pounced creatures DO get damaged by the creature they are latched to
Why do dasps and ceratos heads go through lats/denons/rhamps when they are on their shoulder and the creature that is pounced cant defend itself?? That makes no sense
Why did this "invincibility" thing even beccome a thing??? It seems like they just did not want to fix hit boxes on the creatures that kick (like struthi and pachy!)
This update is terrible and will ruin certain creatures. I should 100% be able to bite something on my shoulder if my MOUTH GOES THROUGH IT.

I_Shaddoww_IThis does not include RHAMPH.

just revert the pounce update to how it was and change struthi and pachy kicking to not hit pounced creatures.
Simple. -

RamiNo. And why?

Most poucers can literally be ran over, making it so they can actually use their pounce and not just be instantly bitten is so nice. You can still buck and drain stam, if they’re not aware they’ll have no stam and be at your feet ready to be run over like a bug.
So sorry but NO, downvote. The pounced dino should not be able to bite the pouncer, ever -

I_Shaddoww_IWhy cant you just be more peculiar on your pounces and aim for legs then?

If my mouth goes through its body while its on my shoulder I SHOULD be able to hit it.
Explain that? -

Ariana MartinezI think pouncer's should just take less damage instead of NO damage. Yes, I can shake them off, but they'll just run away and come back when their pounce is ready again, and they'll do that until you die.
I understand not wanting to die in 1-2 bites while pouncing, that's fair, but having it take 0 damage is very punishing to solo players. Pouncer's should just take 60% less damage or something. -

I_Shaddoww_IThey already do 50% less damage when pounced onto a latched creature since November that they told no one about.

Having a dps reduction to the creature latched onto you seems unnecessary BUT way more reasonable then no damage at all.
Good idea. -

RemnantI'd be fine with this if the 50% debuff applied to latching character damage is removed. (Allow full 100% damage to account for the risk of being attacked)

Or, the field of attack range (head turn) for the entire roster is reduced.
IE: Dasp, Rex, and other characters (based off their skeletal structure) could not and therefore should NOT be able to turn their heads at such an angle to where they can bite the latching character. So a reduction in attack radius is warranted and logical.
That said, FORWARD kicks and claw attacks should never hit a character on the flank/side of the character and stomps absolutely should never hit a latching character. Stomping the dirt should never kill a creature attached to your hip/ribs.
A minor buff to Raptor stats would be fine too. Boost their HP and a minor boost to defense so they aren't 1 & 2 tapped. (Make em 3 or 4 taps perhaps?)
Lastly, allow collision with trees and rocks to dislodge raptors and inflict minor hp damage.
