Community Event for Art Assets and Changing Userpics

It's been a planned feature for over two years to allow users to choose their own userpic/avatar from pre-approved assets, but this feature has yet to be implemented. It's a small but important detail for many.
A community event could take place where players could submit art pieces to be added to the userpic selection pool. Of course, creators would surrender all rights to the illustrations so that Alderon could use them in perpetuity. This would be a great opportunity to showcase the creative skills of the PoT community, give artists an audience, and allow for more selection once the feature goes live.
