Defensive play

Understandable that this is a survival game. But the amount of groups that can run the maps, or are on at a certain time make growing almost impossible and take the fun out of the game when you're constantly being killed.
Players that want to just explore and not pvp should have an option to be defensive or have a setting to where they cannot get attacked and can play the map with friends without worry of dying. I have come across countless people who want something similar so that they can just grow and be left in peace.
