Panjura rework ideas and references
Panjura is a classic map, being the place where a good chunk of the community played PoT for the first time. However, as the game has developed, its age is starting to show, and certain issues like lack of varied biomes, terrain features and POIs become more prominent with each patch and updates to its counterpart Gondwa.
Because of this, I'd like to suggest a rework of panjura, considering the inclusion of new biomes such as spruce bogs, autumn birchwoods, mixed temperate forest biome, and more, as well as the revamp of current biomes like grasslands, redwoods, pine and beech forests to be more colorful and lush. Changes to the waterways to be deeper and friendlier towards semiaquatics would be appreciated too, making rivers deeper, lake bottoms lusher, and waterfalls more scenic.
I made a small collage of some pics that I feel capture the essence of this rework, using the olympic, katmai, yellowstone and yosemite national parks mainly, as well as mt rainier. Thanks for reading!

MartinXI forgot to mention it, but I also think that changes to the mountains would be great too. Currently Panjura's mountains simply don't stand out compared to the rest of the map, nor do they have any obvious purpose. Because of that I think that tweaks to them to have a more unique appearance would be great, such as the addition of alpine biomes, glaciers, snow, and more interesting shapes like rock spires, jagged cliffs, etc
