Leedsichthys design references
Hi! So as it turns out leedsichthys is an animal that lacks many up to date references for its anatomy, so I figured I'd share some references here that could be useful when reconstructing this fish taxon!
Leedsichthys (and other pachycormid fish) had 4 front fins, with the second pair being really elongated and thin, this is unlike older reconstructions of leeds, which portray it with a simple pair of round flippers behind its gills. Its body was a lot more streamlined than previously thought too, so older reconstructions that give this species a massive, short and round torso aren't accurate anymore.
Some particular reconstructions that could be helpful when designing leeds would be Dan Folkes leeds (Dan F on twitter), Fabio Alejandro's leeds, Joschua Knuppe's and Tosha's. I'd especially recommend Dan Folkes and Fabio Alejandro's, as they are lateral reconstructions that show leeds anatomy really well
Hope this has been useful, thanks for reading!

MartinXI also made a simple concept showing some subspecies ideas! Top one is based on older reconstructions of leeds, with the rounded head, fins, and bulkier torso, middle one is the paleoaccurate one, based mostly of off Fabio Alejandro's reconstruction, and bottom one is based on bonnerichthys, a close relative of leeds, also gave it some tail spikes like those of yellowfin tuna, I'll leave the link of the concept down here, as always thanks for reading!
