OtterbirdThis is a big QOL update that kept questing relevant. Eventually you run out of uses for marks and the growth boosts become useful if you lose a fight. Reward questing and maining a character by keeping quest banking in the game, please, it actually helps keeping people more active after they reach full adult, still engaging in gameplay mechanics.

ZeroI second this there no reason to give a chance of loosing all the stored quests if your storing it to save it’s legitimately the best update for quality of life this game has gotten this far. The having to go back to home cave to change skins was a terrible update as well. But this is going to take the cake it’s like a massive middle finger to the player base like I know you just quested 10 quests but let’s take all of them away and growth. And marks..

Philward1954Please... please keep it in the game

Bob HanniganThis is very helpful especially since there are players who kos for no reason not even food they just kill to kill and it helps not loose progress or interest in the game

OrionQuest banking makes this game playable without it KOS player will destroy this game. It allows players a chance to actually grow.

TempestWychQuest banking is not an exploit. It's a useful strategy when carefully executed. Yes this is a pvp game that's intended to be challenging. If quest banking is patched out, the reward of being smart and not going for instant gratification after finishing a quest will leave many people feeling worn down. This mechanic has helped breathe life into an aspect of the game, I don't believe taking it away well benefit anyone in the player base. Please devs, please reconsider.

Echo KoriranPlease do not remove this, it makes the game much more fun, you will lose many people who like this new mechanic. I even introduced my three friends back into the game at the update and they said they like it now that the quests aren’t unbearable. Please. Listen to us.

CHRIS MOSHERYeah the banking system was a really good idea maybe just fail upon leaving the server not dying
-

Alasdair MaciverAbsolutely agree with this. Banking allows better grinding for skins and reinstating adult growth after death. The need for banking seems futile when it cancels on death. The automated completion means you don’t miss out at least if this is the case, but I fundamentally believe that banking is the better option.
-

MichaYou would be making the new questing completely useless and just an extra step wasting my time more just to loosing it all if I don’t cash it in right away. You can’t honestly believe that’s a solution.
-

SurcusuchusI agree. This update made me want to play with my sub-adults/adults more, and it’s easier for slower and easily killed species. I am very disappointed with this decision.
-
15 May, '23
FireStarI agree. With this "banking" system theres more players questing and around the map that before.

KatiePlease don't take it away 😩🥺

WoodyPlease keep this feature. It's what made alot of us come back to the game.

AlbertoQuest banking gives a reasson to keep doing missions as a adult, also it does farming quest a little less annoying
-
15 May, '23
Thomas StarkQuest Banking is not the issue. It’s the loss of banked Quests after death.

SmellyCatWe need an exact purpose for the removal of the quest banking, why is manual collection necessary IF we cannot bank?
-
15 May, '23
JerPlease keep this in the game. It makes it so much easier for me who works 12 hr shifts and don’t get a lot of time to enjoy the game. I personally enjoy how it is now. I can save up and if I die I can get back to where I was easier. Like I said some of us don’t get to spend 6hrs a day grinding. Please don’t change it.

CeraphThis game is modeled around MMORPG, it HEAVILY needs to have this banking system when the whole world is open world PvP.
The immersive combat in this game is so exhilarating and this banking system took enough of the penalty of death to promote more combat. -
15 May, '23
TheDerpyWolfHonestly, if they end up removing quest banking, I will stop playing the game until it is brought back, or the quest-claiming thing is removed entirely. To have to claim your quests, while losing them on death, is meaningless. You might as well revert to the previous quest system, where they claimed on completion.

Cody E.Hey Dev. Crew,
As an admin on one a community server, I’ve seen our playerbase (myself included) exited by being able to bank quests. I’m not sure why it’s seen as an exploit in its current implementation- you still have to put in the work to be rewarded growth/marks, so players are not short-cutting any part of normal gameplay. Since no marks are rewarded for banked quests, adults grinding for marks for skins/abilities/ect, are forced to weigh the benefits the insurance policy of banked growth against the marks normally rewarded to use elsewhere.
A medium ground solution might be capping the total number of quests allowed to be banked (perhaps 15-20). If possible, making this cap editable by community server owners would be helpful, in the same way that rewards are editable. In servers like ours, the penalty for death is more severe than official servers (a full stage of growth vs the ~30% on officials), so banked quests become extremely valuable.
Keep up the good work! -

MatthewI find the quest banking the best aspect of the game! As someone who has bought every dino in the game and had planned to buy every new one that comes out I think removing the quest banking is a step in the wrong direction, it is extremely handy!!!
-
15 May, '23
BaconatorsamIf you take the time to do the quests, shouldn't you get to keep that xp for when you really need it? After you get your skin, there is nothing else to do other than kill and sit.
-

VikynorFor me, quest banking is an effective solution to the kill on sight problem. Questing can take a lot of time, and if you die you lose quite a bit of experience, If only 1/2 player doing kills on sight it doesn't matter, but what if it's more than that? This system helps both sides in my opinion, players who like to kill on sight for fun can still do it, And the victim won't lose too much exp and can still enjoy the game. That's my opinion for now

Matt RThere is a middle ground/ compromise between all or nothing. Until then, losing all unclaimed quests upon death is like a taylor-made punishment for players with ADD
-
16 May, '23
CrypticIt only makes sense to keep this feature in the game. If not, then manual collection is just a waste of time. Either keep the feature as it was clearly intended to be used for, or get rid of the annoying manual collection.
-

NicoIt's literally fine it helps alot for everyone don't remove it
-
16 May, '23
MoThis mechanic allows players to choose between a casual or more risky play style by choosing to bank or not bank quests until after death, along with growing. This also takes power from large KOS groups that make the game so frustrating for those who do not have the means to fight back (everyone not in a mega group). It also brings enjoyment to questing as an adult and has made the game more enjoyable overall for casual players and KOSers alike.
-
16 May, '23
Ten percentI’m on the fence about banking. If you ditch it, I’d suggest you rework the death penalties. Maybe you only lose a portion of the growth/marks you earned in that life and then the remainder are locked in. That way spawning into mix packs isn’t so punitive.
-
16 May, '23
Hayden HayzeDon't remove this feature, it's one of the only things that makes being kos'd and grouped against by toxic player bareable ffs!!
-
16 May, '23
James TaulbeeA brilliant implementation to keep quest as a back up for growth and marks
-
16 May, '23
Xhojinbanked quests gives me a reason to quest as an adult, and gives me a reason to interact with other players.
removing banked quests makes me reluctant to interact with others, let alone actually try to learn how to PVP. because the penalty is way to big. If I PvP and die I lose hours of time spent on tedious boring quests. -
16 May, '23
JagA cap on how many quests you can bank would be a good idea. And the devs could experiment with the caps size and find a balance that allows players the pros of capping with out devs feeling like its exploiting the survival aspect of their game.
-

AntwanNeed to go back to the old way of getting the marks and xp for the quest. Once the quest is done give us credit for it then. Don’t make us have to manually go in and get the credit for the quest. Thank you
-
16 May, '23
beeeepaJust add a limit to how many quests you can bank- like 10 or so. No worries about people trying to bank a crazy amount of quests. Something around 10 quests would be a reasonable amount without making the game "too easy" for some. The new quest system improves the gameplay soooo much and we all love it!
-
16 May, '23
HarleyIt makes grinding quest actually worth it . Since every time you spawn someone snatches all your progress away.
-
16 May, '23
SunnyAgreed. My friends actually enjoy playing this game now since this was added to the game. They kept getting killed at home caves leaving and entering. This made up for it. Now we can all enjoy playing even if we are killed on sight. We can’t lose the xp from the quests we’ve not claimed. This should not have been implemented in the first place, if it’s just going to get removed as an “exploit.” It’s not an exploit, it gives a chance for those who work long hour shifts to be able to reach adult even with the KOS. So many of my friends didn’t like playing because they just get killed after spending hours getting that xp… just to end up with nothing with the little free time they had. If this is going to be changed, then please turn the quest claim off at sub adult. Everyone under adolescent should be able to use this “growth feature.” It’s very tedious to play this game solo on official while adults are killing you for sport. This quest banking made it fair for the little guys.

AdosikSKI must agree with this, being able to collect quests manually doesnt make sense if you lose them when you die, its just waste of time then. I thought banking quests is a new feature and i really liked it with many other players. I would like to keep this in game, maybe add some limit for unclaimed quests or make 20% of unclaimed quests fall if player dies, but dont delete it completely.
-
16 May, '23
XivkinIt's not an exploit by any means I personally have way more fun playing the game knowing I don't have to put hours back into grinding quests if I die a couple of times and have growth regression. If you take away the quest banking you are putting more stress in the game and people will lose interest
-
16 May, '23
TonyMake it so we want to play MORE of the dinosaurs!!
-
16 May, '23
WhiteCygnus100% !!! Keep the quest banking to lower KOS impact and if thats not possible just revert back to normal ! Noone wants to claim quests all the time. Imagine opening quest tab to claim quests and end up dying cause you cant see anything
-
16 May, '23
AshleyI think this is very fair imo. If we’re grinding to grow we should be able to bank the points to grow back when we lose a health bar. The old system seemed like it took way too long.

SerpentKingHello, I have been playing since the initial console release and love the game. Since its release on Xbox there’s been some minor changes to growth and questing, never anything crazy. This new system is fun and super user friendly, especially helps out more now that most Dino’s have an additional 2-3 abilities that we need to buy. I personally believe the ‘exploit’ should stay, minor tweaks to it would be fine but outright removing the stored quests after death just makes the quest update redundant.
