Minimum Successful Bug Report Tiers for Bugtracker Skins Rewarding on the PTB
A reward tier for faithful PTB bug-testers who have successfully reported and logged several dozen bugs to keep incentivizing testing. Many testers have each logged dozens of successful bugs that have been logged forward and fixed but have been awarded no Bugtracker skins at all. This causes the loss of motivation for those who go out of their way to report dozens upon dozens of substantial bugs since we end up feeling burnt out with the process. Reading the logs it turns out that for every Bugtracker skin awarded, there are at least 40 bugs that were logged and had fixes in the Changelogs. This is discouraging for those who have been dedicated on reporting real bugs for months but have had no recognition by awarding them skins. Several dozen great bug finds should equal one Amazing bug find. Sadly this is not currently the case. By using a tier system where reporting at least 10 or 20 successful bugs and being awarded a Bugtracker skin if the goal is reached, people are incentivized.

Wish I could say it hereWhile this may be ‘fair’, keeping track of all this would take extra time and extra people hours that the devs and QA probably don’t have time for. I’m for some form of this, however. Maybe more consideration when people recommend that specific others should get a skin instead of a pinpoint accurate tally that no one and their kitchen sink have time for.

Brandon WatsonThis would be great. Im dedicating alot of time currently trying to earn one. Noone else is ever on the xbox ptb servers and its very boring and lonely.

VeintraliaAt this point I have given up reporting bugs. I have reported quite a few big ones and I haven't gotten a single skin.
