Quest Flowers for the Hive Remodel?

Is it possible to change the amount of flowers that is required to finish this quest.. as a small herbivore or juvenile.. it can be hard to complete the quest in time before being spotted and killed.. and if in a group... where you have to collect twice the amount.. (10 flowers) it can be difficult and the quest is often ignored.. since if the party disbands.. (if a party member is killed) the quest disappears.. and it's boring and hard at the same time to complete anyway..

Could it be remade into only 1-2 flowers as a solo quest... and only twice the amount if in a group.. so that the quest is doable?
I was in a group.. and since no-one helped bring the flowers.. then i did it.. .. and then got kicked when i was on my way with the 10 flower.. only to receive nothing.. which makes me skip it when it comes.
