Passive growth along with quests
As we know, many players are dissatisfied with the current growth system. It takes too long, it's frustrating, it ruins gameplay and enjoying the map itself.
I suggest we get a passive growth implemented alongside with the quests. Quests can still be the quickest way to farm growth but passive growth would help with spreading out the players on the map. As I've heard, the developers don't want players to stay bunched up in certain areas so passive growth could help with that too since there's only a handful of actually good questing areas. Personally, I would like to explore and enjoy the map more while also slowly gaining growth.
We have upcoming nesting at some point too (confirmed?), and as I understand it, it's there to help weaker players grow with the help of adults. I can't imagine it being fun being the parent just following the questing juvi or adolescent around. Passive growth would allow more an immersive and fun experience with the family/pack/herd gameplay.

Cool guyPassive growth leads to people tabbing out to watch YouTube which isnt gameplay. You're doing nothing taking a slot on the server. Legacy isle was fun and all but the unchanging passive growth was terrible gameplay wise. Just do quests.
