More accessibility options for disabled players
More and more people play video games, including people with handicap. Visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, autistic… and video games are more accessible for them.
It would be nice if PoT had more accessibility options, to allow more players to enjoy this great dinosaur game ! If a few options cannot be added because it’s totally ruin survival experience, a few discreet details can improve disabled players experience.
For visually impaired players, with great difficulties to see correctly (sometimes it’s completely blurry for a few people, or difficulties to read…) why not take example on Subnautica Below Zero and let the choice to surround collectible with a little light ? For some visually impaired players, including me, it’s very hard to enjoy collect quests because a few items such as nuts, roots or branches are very hard to see. And make a little light around them could help us to see correctly. And people could enable or disable it at will !

IonianOceansI second this, and want to add my two cents as a former accessibility/Web development intern! A big accessibility issue that has persisted particularly in mobile apps is ambiguous iconography with no alternative text or labeling indicating its meaning. In Path of Titans, my friend and I spent a long time trying to figure out what certain icons on the in-game Social tab meant, as well as what the various Home Cave/Waystone/quest icons meant, at first. Having text adjacent to/below the icons in the game (as well as alt text interpretable by screen-readers, though I'm not sure how this works in game development) would help boost the accessibility of the game tremendously, not only for players with low vision in terms of accessibility, but also for many PoT players in terms of usability. Perhaps the quest icons themselves could be placed next to their corresponding prompts in addition to their locations on Panjura for improved clarity. Thank you for considering our suggestions!
