Growth loss freeze upon reaching next stage
It's be nice to have an option where you cannot lose growth stages once you reach the stage. Getting knocked back to previous stages after grinding especially since the current quests are so low reward for high time amount is disheartening, especially since smaller groups open will just auto lose out to numbers.
Due to the effort and time needed to reach stages, it feels better and more rewarding overall to reach progression goal posts and stay at that goal as the new marker.
Current: Upon dying, you lose x amount to progress, which contributes to the previous bar. If you have growth into sub adult, you can be knocked back into adolescent.
Proposed: Upon dying, you lose x amount to progress, which does not contribute to the previous bar. If you have growth into sub adult, you can be knocked to 0, but do not 'de-grow' into adolescent.

AnonymousIt already works like this as far as I'm concerned, unless they changed it in a recent patch or it's an option in community servers. Each growth stage is a checkpoint, and you can't go back to the previous one. For example, if you're an adolescent dino, you cannot go back to juvenile no matter how many times you die. The only exception is adult being able to go back to sub-adult, but you can't go back to adolescent from this.
