This area would have special items for your den or unlock new skins. It would also give you a cold debuff that would eventually freeze your body and you’ll become a corpse if you don’t make it out of the area in time. This way it would also act as incentive for carnivores to venture into the area for meat. The way to prevent this cold debuff is to huddle together in groups for warmth.
