Ability to cancel quests - While Cancelation Timer is displayed
Hi, I hope the following suggestion can be taken into consideration as I believe it would improve the quality of life of players and their experience.
When you walk out of an area/region, you begin a timer to fail your current quest. A wonderful failsafe so you can get back if you decided to, but , what if I simply don't want to go back? Waiting 5 minutes is quite a long time, especially when you're migrating to your favorite quest spot as a fast dino.
So please, I ask of you; Give the player the ability to cancel the quest ONLY if they are outside of the region (the cancelation timer has begun). We could go to the quest menu and cancel it manually from there.
This would be an amazing feature for those on the-go and, since it is cancelled outside of the region, if players went BACK to the region, the same quest would still be there for them, it would NOT reset to a new one, just like it currently works now.
Thank you kindly for your consideration.

PangoI agree, we should be able to cancel quests manually from the quest menu, which I thought I could do when I first started playing the game. While it is nice if you accidentally go outside the POI, the timer is especially annoying when you don't want to participate in water replenishing or waystone charging quests that take minutes to go away. Making the timers unavoidable only holds players back from travelling; it can even be downright dangerous when they're in a hurry from being stalked or trying to leave the area for food/water.

KiwiSpyGirlI would love this one, Especially with the ones that take forever such as "Replenish lake" as that takes forever and all it takes is someone to drink and then you go backwards.
This one also takes over 5 min to time out after you leave the area.
