Enhanced Game Sounds

I dont know if its possible or how its done but enhanced sound, crisp directionally controlled sounds would make the submersion so much more. Sound being such a crucial part of these dino environment survival type games. I find some of the stomping overpowering and drowns out the sound direction. using 7.1 surround sound headphone in other games i'm able to locate exactly where its coming from, I find it difficult in this game.
