Grazing for herbivores!
A slow filling grazing mechanic for herbivores, perhaps work it similarly to how water depletes overtime? Would be great for those who like realism and it also gives another food option for ALL herbivores if they are really struggling for bushes/food choices. Also great for new people who are still learning the map!

Ne0nlobsterAbsolutely! Maybe it can provide a slow and small-to-moderate food gain (with fruit/vegetable resources providing the fastest and largest) but at the very least, grazing in the grassy areas can be an option to stave off starvation until a berry bush can be located!

WolfgangWolvesPut grazing in the game but it only fills your food a little bit not as much as a bush🥬🥦

SirbeardlessEven if grazing only satisfies hunger half way (so it doesn't complete the find food quest). It just staves off starvation when hanging out with other herbs.

skybluepainerI like this! You could also apply it to carnivores. Like if grazing very slowly gives food, then scavaging bones and shellfish should do the same.

Rufuussin.Realistic? At the time these dinosaurs lived there was no grass, how would they graze? It doesn't make any sense. More realistic would be to introduce more pteridophytes. And prehistoric conifers, such as the Araucaria conifers, very popular and diverse in South America during the Cretaceous period, including a vast fossil record. It would be interesting.
