It would be wonderful if we have opportunity to BUY MARKS into this game. It will help us to save our time and energy by collecting them. I would love to invest my money to this game!

I would love to invest my money to POT and help them grow, so they can create much more for this game and also save my time by collecting marks. I love this game!!! Can not wait for more updates and dinos! 😍🥰❤

This should not be a pay to play game when the quests can earn the marks easily. There is no reason to not do the quests other than many people just wish to sit in the same spot and fight constantly. They took away food in the hot spots and changed the water system to encourage players to do the quests and explore the map, but instead of taking these not so subtle hints, people would still rather just be in the same area and choose to buy marks. I will never support a pay to play system and I for one will be out there earning my marks.

I think this shouldn't be added, as marks are used to buy abilities and therefore gives the player an advantage through paying. If they were only used for cosmetic purposes I'd be less against it, but the devs have said they don't want to include microtransactions.

hell no. this immediately opens the door for P2W. go be a whale elsewhere, I'd rather them bring back the partner skins for purchase

I disagree with you on this. mainly because being able to buy marks to upgrade your dinosaur will pretty much make this a pay to win type of game. and games where you have to pay real money to win rub me the wrong way

I can see how that may be a good implement. Let people make their choices on what to prioritize financially and hope they do not neglect their own RL needs. I have other things in my life I need to spend on right now, but putting in the ability to buy marks might be another good way for the game to continue to earn further funding. I think this is a good idea. I understand they wanted to avoid doing microtransactions, but might be something to take a re-look at it unless they fix the marks nerf /low high-reward quest chances

Not when marks are used for abilities. You are suggesting "pay to win mechanics". Skins - okay, not abilities.

Yeah no, you already pay to play the game, if you're too lazy or can't be bothered to earn marks well then don't, you can still play the game just fine and run around as a dino without needing a single mark, if you want abilities, decorations or skins you have to work for them, that's the whole point.

the developers have confirmed there will be no microtransactions in the game ever, with the exception of charity skins in which all the money earned from said skin will go to charity

Eh if enough people are on board with it they may reconsider certain microtransactions. I don't see the harm in letting people support the game by buying things such as skins, home cave decorations, and other such cosmetic items.

The people in this comment section are insane. At this point in the game you can buy all your abilities by the time you get a dino to sub. There is no p2w mechanics involved in buying marks, it will of course be used to buy skins. I think in addition to this, the marks should be accountwide, not character.

Make a secondary currency to buy skins... I know they said no microtransactions but it might be a good way for them to have continued monetary support for the game. MMOs are really expensive.

If they add marks so that they can be bought you would not be able to buy all your abilities for certain Dino’s until they are adult and they could always make it that you have to earn the marks you use to buy abilities. Then the msrks you buy can be used for other stuff like waystone when it gets super expensive and starts costing a lot of marks and for cosmetics like skins and then cosmetics for the home cave and expanding the home cave. Even if you can use the marks you buy to buy all your abilities it would not be pay to play game because you can still earn enough marks to buy all your abilities through quests and possibly one skin depending on what skin it is and how much it costs.

I don’t think we should be able to buy marks per-se, but maybe skins, or cosmetic features.
