External Server hosting - not from ingame or the AG-partner

Give people with own machines the tools to host on them :3
I am not talking about the ingame-host or renting a server. out there are willing people who would like to host POT on their own machines 24/7 but currently cant due to the fact that there is no software released for this purpose :D
Or at least, if this is a planned feature, give a heads up so we know if we just need to wait or scratch the projects completely.
