Higher Render Distance for Dinosaurs
Players should be able to see each other from a much further distance instead of them popping in when you get near a certain distance

George BeauchampAn options menu slider for this would be amazing.

RedbeardblondieI wholeheartedly agree, I prefer stalking prey from quite a distance, but I often lose my quarry because they despawn and there is no trail to follow that PC players can easily pick out.

RUTHWe need it desperately

friend.codeAbsolutely vital. View distance is far too short as-is. I imagine this is tough to balance between PC and mobile performance, but it's extremely important.

DragonbornThis along with increased hear distance are an urgent need. It sucks only being able to see a dinosaur when you can already hear their footsteps. Gives you like, zero chance to run/hide, especially as a baby dino!!!!

OsirisGood suggestion, only I'd add that ground foliage should render just a far as dinos. I can see dinos easier the further off they are and I have my sliders cranked to max. The code needs to determine if a dino hiding in cover is visible to another even though the other has foliage cranked down.

DomimimusThis is really important. For some dinosaurs (especially lone ones), spotting hostile dinosaurs at the current maximum rendering range is not enough distance to take evasive action while remaining undetected.

TGSycroVery bad idea. The map has to render first or you will be seeing people you are probably hunting through trees and boulders that haven't rendered at that distance yet. This is called cheating....

SimplyPhoenixIf you do add this please do not make this like the Isle where the night becomes a literal nightmare. Seriously smaller render distance is horrible if you plan on making it please make it so that in the distance the textures become more blurry and not make it so it's just fog. Also, please do not make the blur look ugly. Although this can lead to herd situations where one alerts the others to run. I think that's a very interesting concept.
