Movement Keys Automatically Stand/Sit You Up if Held
Holding the movement key swhile sleeping/sitting would automatically move you to the next resting position, and then stand up. Holding the movement keys while sitting stands you up, and holding them while sleeping transition you into sitting, then standing.
This is to prevent accidentally tapping the rest key twice while trying to stand, making you sit back down by accident and potentially letting yourself die in-game from an oncoming attack.

KPYes, that would be so nice, to just be able to hit your forward button to get up. Sometimes I hit H a couple times and it goes from sleep to sit, then back to sleep again. Gets quite annoying esp if someones running towards you to attack ya.

Raorkaait would be easier to press the button to move forward, to get your dinosaur on its feet.

plutomiumI would suggest that the first press brings your dino to rest and then toggles between resting and sleeping. To get up from resting or sleeping you have to press a movement key.

DokeThe movement keys being pressed would not make you rest or sleep, they would only work in getting you UP once already resting. Tapping the rest key would work the same way it does now.

beebee73YES this HiGHLY needed!!! And also something that already exists in other similar games. (Beasts if Bermuda for one)
No need to change the animation or timing as that's not what's being asked for just HOW you get up. Half the tone when I'm trying to quickly get up the dang thing just gets lost in an endless cycle of sitting/sleeping 🙄
When instead one press of the movement button (or two depending on how devs want to work it) Should enable your dino to get up. Regardless of if it isone or two presses of movement the dino should STILL take the current same amount of time to get up, going from sleep to sit, to stand. -
